Alphabet Soup OR Frothy Broth

Oh lovely, lettered, loquacious soup, blooded red with cow and fruit, flavor my soul with tomatoes stewed,
with spices, herbs, and eye of newt, with flesh once live, now cooked and brewed, with menageries of thy wordful zoo.
Delicious, desirous, oh deftly new, tasteful tendrils of curleycues, season my heart with lines up-stooped, with ubiquitous symbols of pastaed food, make it so that when I spew,
it is nothing but my Alphabet Soup.

Saturday night I stood out in the cold outside the freshman male dorm with three acquaintances with the potential to become friends. I was the most bundled of the four of us, but also the only female, and subsequently, the one who showed most reaction to the temperature. I remember saying, 'It should never be this cold, and if it is, there should be snow on the ground.' I returned to my room at 2:30 the following morning, and upon waking at 1 that afternoon, I was greeted with a world of white and the melodious sound of falling ice.

Today it has snowed more, and I've just returned from sledding and eating with friends.

I will dedicate an entire chapter of my metaphorical autobiogoraphy to snow.

I love it.

Hi vervetian,

I’m requesting you to take a moment to consider what all miners, everywhere in the world, do to help maintain the foundation of our civilization. And in particular, the work of the coal miner.
